Made for a combined Airsoft and Paintball Beach Assault skirmish to be held in Bangkok in July 2008
1:1 stand off scale Ma Deuce that fires paintballs via a full auto capable paintball marker that has been modified to fit inside the body of the gun. A full scale replica that is in distinguishable from a real Browning M2 is also under construction - plans to follow in Apr 09
The outer barrel is made from aluminium tubing and the body from 3mm sheet aluminum with GRP 10mm sheet for the top and bottom to add a little weight.
Very simple riveted construction with PVC pipe fittings for some of the round stock and a welded steel tripod made from reclaimed steel tubing

The project calls for two identical .50 cal heavy machine guns so the build will take a little time but will be finished before July 2008.

This plan is for a 1:1 replica of a Browning M2 50 Caliber Machine Gun - Build a near perfect copy of the M2 - (with no internal parts it is not able to fire) The finished size and weight of the Machine Gun are very close to the real live firing Browning M2 .50 caliber Machine gun.
The ideal plan for building a replica M2 for military vehicles, reenactments other applications where a real M2 is not acceptable.
All dimensions and materials are specified and easily fabricated by anyone with basic metal working skills - the plan does involve welding and cutting a fair amount 5mm steel plate - not a job for a hacksaw - no need to scale unmarked dimensions, all drawings are full size and can be opened with any CNC software or AutoCad - Measure tool has be enabled in Adobe Reader Software.
These plans are now complete - at this time they are available as a free full size pdf (A1 sheets) containing four sheets with the purchase of the Semi Scale Plans
The A1 PDF files are vector graphics not JPG so you can import the drawings into most CAD packages or CNC software without the need to convert from raster graphics.
All plans are full size - this enables unmarked dimensions to be measured using the Measure Tool in Adobe Reader software

Plans to build a full scale replica of the Barrett M82 .50 Cal Rifle. The plans include guides, photographs and template patterns to make a fully functional Airsoft Barrett M82 using a donor AEG (M16 or M4)
The plan set consists of 10 sheets of plans - A0, A1, A3 sized sheet in Adobe PDF format and Build Photographs to guide the production of the replica .50 caliber sniper rifle
Note that this Replica Barrett M82 in the Airsoft AEG or in the Replica format will under no circumstances chamber or fire live ammunition.
Construction material of the main body is 2mm or 3mm alunimium sheet - the plans include templates to pre-groove or route bending guides to ensure that the home builder can achieve accurate bending to form the body without sheet metal working tools and presses.
